Let that sink in. mrekk, is an aim player fucking leagues above all other aim players, still so far ahead in pp than toro even when he has 3 1900s, and is STILL ABLE to compete against toro in the near future.
Let’s not forget mrekk was pushing 400bpm+ aim a while ago and will not hesitate to actually get good at it just like his inhuman dedication towards improvement in general.
He will be competing with toro on AIM, all while the rest on the podium are all SPEED players.
I don’t even care about the outcome of the #1 battle. If mrekk otherwise gives up, it is STILL impressive he got this far.

Started as a osu! tweet accusing mrekk of being disrespectful for grinding in maps whenever other players achieves a new record trying to beat them. The tweet has became a copypasta within osu! community and is used as a shitpost against mrekk.

I wish some crimes didn't have consequencesMrekk has the choice to either play or not play the map. he only has to refrain from touching the map for lets say a week he instead doesn't care about the potential harm (I'm not saying it is guaranteed to have a bad impact on Mathi he might even be more motivated from it) but I think because there is a CHANCE that he does have a bad impact on a players motivation who finally was able to break a barrier he has been trying for way longer time to do than mrekk himself.
I think it is disrespectful to value his "just another 1k to my collection on an easy map I just found" (I combined his words) as more important than keeping that fellow top players achievement unique for just a little bit longer than a couple hours.

Its a comment from ProfessionalBox (a retired elite osu! mapper) on the map The Pretender back in 2017. The community made it into a copypasta and you’ll sometimes come across it in other maps.
I mean if you go and map The Pretender then what do you expect? It has such a big status as a turning point in the mapping meta that you can't avoid being compared. In my honest opinion there are songs that are tied to such grand maps that they should be given a status where they are not allowed to be ranked if mapped by someone else (The Pretender being one of them). That being said I haven't looked at the map so I have no opinion on it, because the quality of the map is irrelevant in this matter. This is about preserving history of osu! and therefore I hope that this doesn't become a trend in the future.
AKA the pp system copypasta, its a copypasta that osu! players spam in the comments section criticizing the new performance points (pp) system.
