For sure. No one is asking you to be banned from the game, just saying that it's a little insight into your personal character. If manipulating another human you convinced you were friends with doesn't bother you, you have less empathy than most people. Not calling you a psychopath, but just that a lot of people (myself included) couldn't bring myself to do that because it just seems too cruel.
Interestingly enough, I play with a group of socialist trade unionists and all of them are strictly against manipulation or shooting on sight (unless the person is particularly suspicious). I think that says a lot about how your personality in a game is reflective of your real world beliefs. Go play with a MAGA group and I guarantee the situation will be different.
