I'm just gonna say it, sticks were a mistake. As soon as primitive man invented sticks, everything became an arms race that led to where we are now. There was no attempt made to regulate them either. Any random ape could just walk into a jungle, grab a stick, and then use that stick to kill 6 other apes. We could've had peace, but we chose sticks instead.
