Lennon was a questionable dude in a bunch of ways (beater, philanderer, homophobe, race issues etc). But most of my Beatles hatred is because they weren’t very good at music. The Beatles serve as a useful acid test to me because if they’re in someone’s collection/haul/post, I know that I can safely discount/ignore their opinions. This post, and OP, are an exception to this rule because the linked content is using the white album to create something new, it’s basically sampling, pulling a Duchamp etc. Grey Album whips ass also.
